Check your fuel pump. Most fords have a high temp breaker that shuts down so the pump doesn't burn up. Normally this problem is due to a weak pump pressure. It's in your gas tank I believe for that year. I have over the years, happened to me twice (2 separate Fords I've owned) over the 45 years. Common if the rig is over 150,000 miles or 15 years old. You drive, the pump over heats and shuts down and you pull over, it cools down and 15 to 30 minutes later it resets and you start and run/drive. Have a mechanic check it out. SORRY!!!
