It runs but keeps trying to shut off.If you slow it down for traffic it don't want to accelerate again.

Start with the basics. A vacuum leak is a good place to look.

Back fire is sign of firing loss,check distributor out,may be bad icm on it or bad distributor if it back fire,s.

Changed fuel regulator,gas filter,and rear fuel pump. Also replaced riser pipe and changed EGR valve.

Started out changed distributor , wires , plugs, coil , and voltage regulator.

Ok you changed a good bit, you hear like a exhaust leak,check the intake gasket may have air leak?
