Absolutely NOT!!! the 5.0 and the 5.4 have different bolt patterns. You need to stick with 5.4, 4.6 or even the 3.8 v-6 although how they interact with the computer is something only a a Ford expert can tell. Best bet,,,, fork out the junkyard or Ebay price ($350 to $500) for another or just have yours rebuilt for about $1000.

When i hit 4x4 or 4LO on the dash the control module does not click. I have run the self test on two different modules and both are good. What could be the problem?
