Check engine light not working

I have a problem with my
check engine light. I know it
worked before but now that I
need to take it in for a smog
test to get my tags the light
won't illuminate at all. I've
taken the dashboard panel off
but can't find the light bulb
where it illuminates. Does
anybody have an idea why I
can't find it.

I have the same problem on my 2010 yeah f 150 , if you can find out what the answ thank you is let me know ( abelson52@yahoo.com)ask for Carl.
