removing ignition lock without a key

my 1970 thunderbird ignition lock is broken how do I replace it I carnt seem to get it out

You don't say if the key is broken off in the switch or if the key is lost. If it is broken off in the switch, you should be able to use a small screwdriver to turn it to remove the switch. BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLE FIRST!!!
