I am wondering how to pull the oil pan on a 69 t-bird 429, without removing motor mounts

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have the pan unbolted and I am not sure if there is a way to get this pan off without lifting the motor. The crossmember and counter weights on the crank seem to make this job harder than it looks.

If you figure out how to do it without removing mounts and jacking engine, let all of us know. Not a lot of slack in that 429 setup so I don't think you will ever be able to pull it without raising it. good luck.
