does my 1988 2.3 ford ranger have 2 fuel pumps

i cant get my truck i bought to run right and it sat for 3 years. trying to rev it up
and it sputters and cuts out kind of like its getting no fuel. I replaced all the
plugs, wires, distributor, rotor and new fuel filter but still runs like crap..

I suspect you didn't replace the fuel? Gasoline that sat around for 3 years is vanish. Drain the tank and flush the fuel lines and clean the injectors.

Yes, a lift pump in the fuel tank and the high pressure pump in the frame rail on the drivers side. If it has been sitting make sure you replace the fuel filter and fuel pump relay.
