Check the starter electrical circuit first from ignition switch to starter motor, including voltage drops... If the trucks been apart there's a chance someone installed the wrong flywheel or flexplate! the issue is starter gear getting "stuck" engaged. this can be an alignment problem. The starter can be shimmed so it will not become stuck engaged. "STARTERS" how many are we talking?
