are you refering to gas or deisel if gas my guess is a 460 big block carbeurated

here comes flack... Ford produced a couple drag engines that were special order from ford racing that were basically 427ci punched to (here comes pain for my post haha) 600ci... its supposedly possible but i dont really see how... but thats not really stock i suppose.. for normal production the 460 was about it i think...

i agree with the 460, my uncle had that model year F-150 and i seem to recall him having to replace a carb. so no EFI
