Ford engine swap

I have a 1999 explorer v8 limited with a
2001 mountaineer engine v8. Now I'm
looking into buying a 2002 f150 v8 with bad
engine.. Can I swap engines???? Any thing
will be appreciated  thanks

First, check you state emission regs. You do not want to for an inspection and find out your state only allows the same year engine to be replaced in the truck. So what do you want to sway the pickup engine with? The 2001 engine out of the mountaineer?
