When my pickup is in 2wd and put it in gear, all you hear is a grinding and,the pick up wont move, but if i put it in 4wd high,and lock the hubs, it drives!, whats the problem? 1 Answer

Pick up wont drive in 2wd it just grinds but when,i put it in 4wd and lock the hubs it drives what's the deal?

i put a new ignition switch in my truck but to do it i took apart the top of the column to do so and when i did a piece fell out with a spring and i got it to where it all goes back and i don't know where the spring looking thing goes and now it is like the key aint telling the transmition its on because it wont go into gear it wont shift out of park 5 Answers
