Flashing on/off/full screen/partial screen and sometimes I get "sys" on the radout. What's the cure?

take to dealer for a scan,could be nothing but a bad lcd better safe than sorry.

Yes, sounds like your LCD is taking a dump. This was common on early GM cars with digital dash/LCD screens like the Buick Reatta, Riviera, etc. These can be rebuilt but can be pricey. Google "digital dash rebuilders" to get a price quote.

I didn't mention it was a Corvette, probably doesn't matter much.

Tpms with malfunction will cause this , remove fuse for mirrors will make this problem go away , you just won't have mirrors or visor lighting

Bad and leaking cold air intake tube from filter to throttle body caused my LCD to fail totally. Replacing intake tube and engine runs like a new one and LCD is like new. Why? You tell me please.
