1st gear not shifting properly into 2nd

1st gear is reving up too long before shifting into 2nd. Then it runs just fine

However your vehicle senses throtle position may be going south. Have someone knowledgeable take a peak, it may be as simple as fixing a hose or adjusting a cable.
