Do you hear a loud popping sound when your clutch goes out? 94 Vet 6 speed while starting it.

You shouldn't necessarily, you should experience an increase in RPM when you apply throttle while in gear, which will in turn sound like the engine is reving up.

You will most likely have a slipping problem and will not be able to engage some gears . but no poping sounds I suggest a new clutch disc and a new slave cylinder too as they are weak for that year ans sometimes leak out causing clutch problems. So check clutch fluid first ? It is against firewall under ecm
