93 vette intermittent clutch faliure

Asked by 93vette Mar 31, 2008 at 09:23 AM about the 1993 Chevrolet Corvette

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My clutch intermittently engages even when the pedel is pushed to the floor.  Then it worked normally most of the time.

Anyone ever experience this?

thanks,

this is something I would get looked at, it could be your slave, throw out bearing or the clutch itself. It would be better to get it looked at now, than getting stranded somewhere

I believe these models have hydraulic clutch cylinders. You may be low on fluid or have air in the lines or a leak altogether. Don't pull up behind someone and then bump them. It is a problem you don't want to face.
