how much would a mechinac charge to fix a transmission leak, probobly needs a gasket

It all depends on where the leak is from. If it's just from the gasket on the pan that's a minor repair (in mechanic money that would be under $200 they will probably change the filter and gasket while it's out, or AAMCO could do it). If it's more serious than that it could be big $
