is my clutch not working

hello i was wondering if you could help me figure out whats wrong with my toyota corrolla
2006 is a manaul operated, and all the gears will go in but i have to press the gas pedal all
the way in order to make it run and while im driving it on the highway it runs but it sounds
like its forcing it self could it be the clutch

Replace clutch and pressure plate, and the slave while in there.
