Does the 2006 Avalon have a recommended mileage for changing the timing belt

Asked by dbdale Jan 13, 2014 at 09:45 AM about the 2006 Toyota Avalon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

180

After 2004, the 3 Liter Avalon no longer uses a timing belt. Beginning 2005, Toyota went to a timing chain along with increasing the displacement to 3.5 Liters. I know because I've owned 3 Avalon's.
