Stalling out

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck runs great for the first 30
minutes. After 30 minutes has
gone by every time I come to a
stop and waiting for the light to
change it either dies out or acts
like it's gonna shut off. When at a
stop i have to let the truck roll so it
won't shut off. I changed the fuel
filter but it didn't work. Help what
do i do next

Sounds like the catalytic converter is getting clogged and needs to be replaced. Easy way to check is at night let vehicle idle 5-20 minutes then look under vehicle at exhaust system at converter if it starts to turn cherry red converter is clogged.
