Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 CK 1500. My brake pedal was going all the
way to the floor and  I still have pressure on my brakes
while I'm driving. I just changed my master cylinder and still
having the same problem. What should I do?

take it back to shop and let them know. they should guarantee their work/ products if it is a good shop. I was driving a Toyota rav 4 a few days ago and the brake pedal went straight to the floor after it was fixed, too. not good.

you have to bench bleed the master cylinder , brake hoses can collapse internally and not let calipers relax , there is nothing to pull the caliper back once you've applied brakes they simply relax , the piston can get bound up that's why I peel the boot back and give it a shot of wd40 before I compress them , A shop will never do that because people like to replace calipers
