stop lights don't work, it is not the stop light swich

replace stop light switch, bulbs and everything good.  burns the fuse.

Then all that's left is the hot wire going to ground and shorting out. You'll have to follow the harness all the way back looking for rubbing or corrosion. Exposed all the way from the cab to back under the bed so look for corrosion or rubbing. At night you can look for sparks while someone puts in a new fuse?
