my 88 prelude dies sometimes as i am coming to a stop. i have already replace the cap, rotor, and fuel filter. any ideas? thank you

how dirty is your air cleaner?.maybe not getting enough air to burn fuel...turn up idle a bit.

I believe that the 88 Prelude was fuel injected?? Does it start right back up again? I would suggest that the idle is too low although it's usually NOT adjustable. So, something else must be causing it to idle too low.... Check out a HAYNES manual or take it to a shop that specializes in Honda. They will be able to diagnose what is causing A) too much load on the engine while idling or B) determine why the idle speed has decreased.
