I messed with local mechanic,Went to repair steady engine light, He removed cathelatci convertor and weld exhaut pipe, replaced sprk plug, wires, distributor. Now engine light is flashing :(

go somewhere else...even though a car can run without a catalytic converter it is a federal regulation to have them as part of the exhaust system. second the oxygen sensors are probably being thrown off because its seeing the same readings. there are usually 2 oxygen sensors one before the catalytic converter and one after. the one after adjusts the air fuel mix based on the exhuast gases after it goes through a catlytic converter. i highly suggest going to another mechanic
