sounding like engines making popcorn and lose engine power

starts ok then after a  few min driving theres poping sounds coming from under
hood(sounds like popcorn popping) step on gas but wont accellerate

Your timing is off. When did you last change the timing belt?

also does the popping sound stay the same or does it change when you step on the gas/rev the engine?

You are correct sir! My son and wife are here with me in Clarin. I retired here for good starting in January. I love it. I can tell you are well traveled. Have you ever been here??
