Starter motor seems faulty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Audi 1996 Cabrio V6 Fuel injection. Starter will not turn. Is the current via relay or could it be the wire from solenoid to starter?  If the wire is gone do I have to pull the starter to replace it? If via relay where is the relay?
