Can you install a blower on a carburetor alone, or does it have to be on a supercharger?

blower is a slang term for a supercharger. roots type superchargers mount under the carburetor and suck air through it. centrifugal superchargers mount externally like an alternator and push air. they are both belt-driven. depending on your engine, you can get models for either carbureted or fuel-injected.
