Driver's side on the left lower front part of engine. Its black, has a pulley and fan belt running it. There is a black plastic cap on top with a fluid level dipstick built in. Two hoses run from it to the steering box located just below it. One is high pressure, the other is return. Wait a couple of days and I'll post a picture of my stock setup on my '71. On a 350 engine there is a bracket which comes off the exhaust manifold and another adjustable bracket which comes off the head of the engine. There is one long thru bolt which goes in to the engine head that it pivots on.
