I own a 1999 Impreza CZ Sport with the 5 speed manual and the SRX rims etc and i have a bad problem with road noise when travelling at low speeds. It is a kind of roaring or chafing sound and at 40kmh the car sounds like a plane and it drowns out the stereo which is annoying. Its not pleasant to drive with and any help would be great!

check your calipers to see if any are frozen and check if your tires of proper speed balancing
