Is it a radiator a hose or a water pump?

Asked by Laura May 28, 2023 at 10:38 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The coolant light came on on the dash
and I filled the coolant up and then the
next day suddenly I needed coolant
again I filled it up and then I noticed it
was all pouring out onto the ground
from the very front of the car on the
driver side, so what would cause that
is that the radiator a hose or the water
pump?

Why don't you just stick your head under the car and look up. when there are big leaks like this, I usually suspect the water pump, but in a twenty year old car, especially a POS like a Sunfire, it could be a radiator hose, clamp, or the bottom of the radiator corroded..... Sorry, I can't see the car from here.
