They are both 46 T5 Transmissions they make up the same but the only difference is the plug am I able to switch the plug from the old transmission to the new because I noticed that the plug is the same but it has different contact points instead of having them on the bottom like the 05 does the contact points on the 98 around the top the plug is the same but the pins are situated differently am I able to switch the plug on the transmission and put it on the 98 transmission?

They are both 4T65E Transmissions. And mock up the same only difference is that the plug are slightly different. The main plug over the bell housing is the same as the one I want to out in the 05. Only difference is the pin location. Am I able to switch the plug from the 05 to the 98 tranny?
