Will a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix transmission work in a 2007 Grand Prix?

I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix non supercharged 3.8 that needs a
transmission, will a non supercharged 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8
transmission work in it?

I took a trans out of a 08 and it worked it my 06 so I'd say it would work

Thank you,,,, About everyone is telling me only an 07,08grand Prix or an 07,08 lacrosse will work.... I would like to know for sure, it’s a lot of work to pull both and install it and find out it won’t work
