How do I replace a speedometer on a 1992 Nissan 4 cylinder?

you might want to make sure the speedo is pluged in to the tranny, my speedo stoped working and the odometer stoped working so i got under the truck ant there was a plug hanging, it pluges into the right side of the tranny i think, i cant remember the exact location but its on the trans.
