Was there a early 1990 without airbag

Asked by bobss10 Jan 03, 2007 at 05:15 PM about the 1990 Ford Mustang

Question type: General

Did all the 1990 Mustangs come with the driver's side airbag or were there early 1990 models without?

Hello bobss10-- I looked everywhere that Google and I could think of and all indications are that the driver's airbag was standard equipment on all Ford Mustangs for 1990, the first year for this standard feature. A lot of customers complained because the addition of the airbag took away the tilt-wheel feature. But alas, the airbag was here to stay and today we have airbags coming at you from nearly every angle. Good luck from Bovan.
