2002 Mitsubishi Lancer won't stay running

Car has a hard time to start and it will start then starves for gas. This 2.0liter  
does not have a fuel valve to test pressure. Changed fuel pump. Their is gas
going through the fuel rail. But won't keep running

Check for engine codes. If no codes, try spraying some quick start in the throttle body to see if it'll run for a bit. If it does, check fuel pressure, if pressure is ok, check or replace crankshaft sensor. It could also be a plugged catalytic converter
