Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After a 2 inch  snowfall, we atarted the  car and tried the wipers but they did not work.
Upon inspection, the base end od the nlade where it comes from the firewall had 2 inches of ice.
After we cleaned all the ice out she will still not work.
Can it be reset?

It could be the fuse, the wiper motor, or a shorted wire in the switch or the circuit. The easiest thing to check first is the fuse, which may actually be an aluminum box plugged into the fuse board that is actually a circuit breaker. Check your owner manual which should have a diagram of the fuse box and your wiper requirement listed If it is a circuit breaker, your best bet is to go to Ford and get one, as car part stores usually not have it.
