Ford Ranger Splash

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger Splash with a
2.3L 4 cylinders. With a manual
transmission. I want to give it more HP.
What is a good engine a trans to put into it.
I plan on buying them new and installing
them my self.

believe it or not, but that 2.3l in your truck will make good power with a turbo/ intercooler set up, and since the ECU in your truck is a MegaSquirt unit, you can tune it without using a piggy-back controller.
