How many miles should I have my oil changed?

Asked by Sandra Mar 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM about the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2017 Equinox I was told I should
have my first oil change at 5000 miles. We
bought a home and are moving out of
state, I was unable to have my oil changed
and I currently have 7248 miles on my
vehicle. I know and I will get the oil
changed asap. My question is should I
drive it  back home it's another 700 miles?
I don't want to stay at my daughters, my
husband is disabled and I need to get
back. Will it hurt the vehicle to drive it
Nother 700 miles ?
