How is the shifting after you get into 2d gear?

after it goes into 2nd it runs great, it;s an automatic trans

Fluid level and condition is good? If it's been a while have the transmission fluid and filter changed.

I have, I had this truck for about 5 years and have changed the fluid and filter 2 or 3 times already
