The change for the fuel economy is actually in system settings on the radio

Go to Apps on display, then Settings. Go to Units and then click on US or you can customize each item

My 2017 grand Cherokee trailhawk is doing the same thing! My MPH is selected, yet my MPG is showing as KM/L. I have tried everything, even resetting to factory settings (by my dealer tech), and it will not sync.

To change it is NOT in the radio settings. On the left side of the steering wheel are up, down, left, and right arrows. Arrow up or down until you find it and follow the prompts. This warranted a call to my dealer to find this out since I couldn't find it on the owner's manual. I learned a few other things by using this feature as well!

My 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee is showing my speedometer in MPH, my range is in ml, showing current km/L and Average of km/L

Had the problem where I would enter the average to MPG and it would switch back to KM/L after about 24 hrs. I entered the correct info in both location, but always reverted back to KM/L.. Took my 2017 Grand into the dealer and found out it was a software glitch/update. It's been over a week now and problem seems to be resolved. SOFTWARE..... Tony

Mine was in metric. I pushed us + it stayed in metric. I then pushed metric again. Let it set the back to us + it stayed. I guess it was in metric but not officially so. Going back to us fixed it.

Push and hold UP button on left of steering wheel. It should change to MPH.

Mph is not the problem. It’s mpg vs k per liter. Mine does the same thing. You change it in settings on the Center screen and several days later it’s back to the metric system all on its own. If I knew of a trustworthy dealer I’d get the update.

My 2020 Jeep Renegade is switching from us to metric when it wants. Even replaced the body control module. Back in service today because when I started the vehicle it was metric yet again. Sometimes it’s a few weeks sometimes several times a week that it changes. Updates have yet to fix it either.

looking in the manual is a mute point when the car is a loan car from the mechanics and they haven't included the manual in the car...
