Why won't my car start?

Asked by Guru9ZLL62 Dec 05, 2020 at 09:15 PM about the 2016 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cut off while driving now won't start or even turn over.
Replaced alternator, battery is reading 12 volts, lights and
radio coming on, starter not clicking but you can hear it
trying to engage (one small click), computer system not
reading anything at all. Please help!

Simply put? One of 2 things....either not enough voltage getting through solenoid to starter, or the gear in the starter is stuck on the flywheel
