Hand brake was not staying down, and by pushing down on hand brake the "hand brake dash" light would go off and the park/tail lights would come on (great!). There must be a switch that detects that the hand brake is down. I will check why the hand brake does not stay down. Probable because a spring is out of place or something is pressing agaist the hand brake upwards. I think what is happening here is the DRL (Daytime Running Light) module is getting a "hand brake" on signal ( Apparently for Canadian models...lucky us ).
