Go on YouTube and enter the make and year of ur vehicle and also put taking off pcm.....this pcm/ecm is located under hood up by front passage under a bracket that has 2 plastic pins...then unscrew the bracket that holds the pcm up against the fire wall...very easy.. I'm a female and disbled and the you tube video showed me how to do this myself...ALWAYS make Sure Ur battery is totally disconnected BEFORE you mess with Taking Off and Putting pcm back on...the video will explain 100%..hope this helps u

I did it myself....they're will be 3 plugs (each square plug has a locking handle Becareful NOT to Just Pull the Plugs out b4 U UNLOCK each plug) some cars are equipped with California emissions ...Which means The pcm will have 4 plugs Instead of 3....I Used plastic bags to put each plug into bag so dust and dirt doesn't get into the little wholes..Separately in their own bag....don't worry about remembering WHICH PLUG GOES WHERE AS EACH PLUG HAS A COLOR CODED BAND...I sent Mine out to get tested. ...Do Not make the mistake Of having an Online companies to Zap Or reprogram Ur pcm....As this will NOT work...Only get pcm tested..then tow ur vehicle to a dealership as they Only charge $125 to Put on the pcm...hook ur battary back up then Flash the pcm to match the throttle body....If u do it this way...U save ALOT of $$$$...there's a sensor chip in the throttle body ...So it's important the dealership (which always has the most current updated software) ..reprograms this so It matches the throttle body chip as well..

YOU can replace the pcm after it gets tested as well....then reconnect battery. ....then take it to dealership to get flashed...I was surprised it only costs $125 to flash
