What do these wires do see picture?

I have a 2013 Kia soul and I bumped into something. My car has no pep, and
the speedometer doesn't work. I took to the dealership and they told me I
need a whole new computer. But I was cleaning today and noticed this plug
had popped out see attached image. Might the dealership have missed
checking this? What do these wires do?  Best S

Plug it back in! The other side of the connection is in the top portion of your photo.

But what does it do? The dealership has ordered a new computer and say I need it. If I plug it back in - do I need them to do anything to recalibrate things? S
