Can I tow the Kia Soul standard transmission on a car tow dolly in gear or do I have to leave it in neutral

I am towing a kia soul standard transmission on a car tow dolly.  I want to
know if I can leave the car in 5th gear or do I have to leave it in neutral

Thanks for the help. I am towing it front wheels on the dolly, but I have been told to leave the keys in the on position to keep the steering wheel unlocked. I also unhook the battery. I just wasn't sure about the transmission. You answered that. Thanks again.

I just purchased a 2020 Kia Soul..when I' am trying to lock my car the alarm won't sound now. I've been had it about 2 months. What can that be?
