Car jerking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Right before the rpms get to two the car jerks
almost always 3 times. Just enough to feel like you
went over some bumps. This happened before but
way worst. The car would jerk and have no power
the check engine light came on and it was the
number 2 coil. I replaced that and it worked. The
check engine light is not on and it's not that bad.
When it starts to jerk I step on the gas a little
passed 2 tons and it stops. I don't know anything
about cars and don't want to get ripped off. I need
help!!!
