Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Thank you to the answer that when the back lift gate on the cadillac SRX
doesn't work it is a fuse.
Wanted to know if that is something I could tackle myself...I am a female but
would love to get it done today .  Where is this located?

It would be in the fuse box, usually under the driver side of the dash or on the side of the dash or under the hood. Your owners manual can give more detail information.

Make sure the release button on the driver side door isn’t mistakenly in the off position. There are three positions on that rotary button ... off ... 3/4 open and full open. Very easy to turn it by mistake (I found that out). Good luck!!

Thanks for the suggestion "Guru892V", after spending quite some time watching videos, searching on google, and pulling out the control module. I saw your post and decided to go check only to find it in the OFF position.
