If the instruments are starting to pixilate, will it get worse over time till it disappears altogether or just stay the same?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 530i E39 BMW with dashboard pixilation of instruments: does this repair involve taking out the whole dash?  Is it major?  Or can I just put up with it?

You can have it repaired by sending out the cluster to someone. There are several companies on eBay that will do it, just be careful and research the company before you go buy the service.
