my key is stuck and want come out. How do you know if your key is stripped

i can crank the car and drive it. But the key just want come out. somebody said my key is
striped but i dont think it is

It's not the key, it's the pins in the ignition switch. Try wiggling the steering wheel back and forth while pulling on key, in 'off' position and make sure it's not in gear. If that does not work, come on back and we can figure out something else to get it out. there's always a way
