The oil change isn't going to directly affect the issue. However if the vehicle had a free inspection during the oil change it could be possible. For example, if they checked the air filter but unplugged the maf sensor in the process to gain clearance and forgot to plug it back in. The engine light can come on for a million reasons and usually isnt a big deal at all unless its flashing. Could be a bad or unplugged sensor, loose gas cap, ect. Traction control relies on your wheel speed sensors and abs system. The sensor could be broken, could be unplugged, or you could even have a bad wheel bearing that cooked or destroyed it. Have the car scanned for codes. I'm betting itll be something minimal.

Scan for codes. Probably just a coincidence. Do check your oil level as oil change shops are infamous for putting in the wrong amount of oil if they put any oil in it at all.
