99 elantra overheating after changing the power steering pump

OK so I had no problems with the car except I
didn't have power steering so I changed out the
pump and now it keeps overheating please help I
don't know what is wrong with it

Check the routing of the serpentine belt. It sounds like it may be loose or routed so that the water pump pulley is not turning properly.
